Reds enquire about Digne
Liverpool are targeting Paris Saint-Germain left-back Lucas Digne, according to Dominic King of the Daily Mail.
The Merseyside club are looking to wrap things up in the transfer market by strengthening the defense with the acquisition of the 22-year-old.
It is also believed that the young Frenchman would be interested in a move to the Premier League.
Digne, who is capped eight times by his country, is currently behind Brazilian veteran Maxwell in the pecking order at the Parc des Princes.
The lure of first team football could prove to be a vital factor in the move as he looks to make the French squad for Euro 2016.
But whether Liverpool can guarantee that is another matter as they currently have Spanish left-backs Alberto Moreno and Jose Enrique on their books.
The Reds may well be in the market for a new left-back with Enrique rarely featuring last season and possibly being moved on and Moreno being less than convincing.
