Liverpool are taking an interest in creative Red Bull Leipzig wide man Emil Forsberg as boss Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his options out on the flanks, according to the Mail Online.
A move for Forsberg in January is looking unlikely, however, the Mail claim Klopp will swoop for the Swedish international winger when the summer transfer window rolls around.
The 24-year-old was voted as Sweden’s midfielder of the year in 2014 and has all the qualities of a winger that Klopp will look for as he prepares to strengthen his squad, due to his eye for goal and cutting edge going forward.
Forsberg has been in good form for RB Leipzig so far this campaign, with impressive displays coming frequently from the Sweden man, helping his side to lead the German second division, giving his side an extra outlet since his arrival from Malmo in 2014.
The winger has also been renowned for forming an excellent partnership at national level with Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in his 13 appearances for Sweden.
