Gazzetta World report that Liverpool are among a host of clubs to take an interest in Juventus striker Alvaro Morata, as boss Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his attacking prowess ahead of the second half of the season.

Juventus are highly reluctant to part company with Morata, however if a hefty offer comes in for the Spanish international striker, it will be hard for the Old Lady to stand between the powerful forward and Anfield.

If Liverpool are to have a chance at acquiring Morata in the near future, they will have to cough up an astronomical amount of money for the Spaniard, as, according to Gazzetta World, even a €60m bid would be turned down by the Italian champions.

The Reds are currently without Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Danny Ings due to injury, and £32.5m summer signing Christian Benteke is yet to convince Jurgen Klopp.

Morata has only mustered three goals in 25 club appearances this term.
