Does Simon Mignolet have a future at Liverpool Football Club?
For the purposes of this article, we will imagine he does not. Thus, we’re going to look at some people who could be brought in to replace the Belgian shot-stopper.
Mignolet has had some very good games this season, but he’s also had some shockers too and, quite frankly, he’s cost Liverpool too many points.
Despite Jurgen Klopp and the club offering the former Sunderland man a new contract, plenty of fans and pundits are confident that the Belgian will not be the man between the sticks at the start of the 2016/17 season.
With that being said, Liverpool are obviously going to need a replacement as it’s highly unlikely that Danny Ward will be given the number one jersey and there might be more chance of me being the club’s goalkeeper than there is of Adam Bogdan getting the nod.
Therefore we’ve looked around the continent and have found five ‘keepers who could be in line to replace Mignolet.
