Liverpool could be willing to sell Jordon Ibe
According to a report from Chirs Bascombe of The Telegraph, Southampton and Watford are interested in making a move for out-of-favour Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe.
The young wide man has found first-team chances fairly hard to come by under new manager Jurgen Klopp and is seen as more of a squad player than a regular fixture in the starting line-up.
With the German boss looking to get a summer overhaul underway, it’s looking as though Ibe could be one of the names leaving Anfield this season, which somewhat highlights the lack of progress he’s made since bursting onto the scene.
When Liverpool sold Raheem Sterling, many fans thought Ibe would be the man to step up and fill his shoes, but that’s never been the case.
Despite flashes of brilliance, Ibe has never been able to perform at a consistently high level, which isn’t uncommon for 20-year-old players.
