Zielinski Deal at Risk of Falling Through
Udinese midfielder, Piotr Zielinski, who is on loan at Italian club Empoli, was reportedly made a top target by Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp.
However, recent reports in the English media suggest that Klopp is now targeting Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder, Mahmoud Dahoud, as his main priority this summer.
According to Italian website Forza Roma, the deal to take Zielinksi to Anfield could be at risk of collapse because his parent club Udinese are not happy with the €10million offer from Liverpool and are holding out for around €13million.
Forza Roma also quoted Zielinski’s agent, Bartolomiej Bolek, as saying;
Is the Liverpool move at risk? Yes, maybe.
Klopp will be keen on signing either of Zielinski or Dahoud, as they are both highly rated around Europe and are both full of potential.
However, Monchengladbach would be loathed to sell both Dahoud and now Arsenal player Granit Xhaka in one summer transfer window.
