Liverpool join chase to sign West Ham star
According to The Mirror, Liverpool have joined the race to sign West Ham defender/defensive midfielder Reece Oxford this summer.
Liverpool have apparently joined Manchester United and Manchester City in the hunt for Oxford, and are plotting a move for the promising talent.
Oxford is thought to be valued at £10million.
Oxford has just two years left on his current West Ham contract and is reluctant to sign a new deal with the club. This could provide Liverpool with an ample opportunity to swoop in and bring him to Anfield to develop under Jurgen Klopp.
The 17-year-old burst onto the scene this season with a superb performance against Arsenal on the opening day of the previous campaign and went on to make 12 appearances in all competitions.
Despite interest from elsewhere, West Ham are still keen to keep hold of their prized asset and will put up a fight to retain him.
