Liverpool are considering making a bid for 19-year-old midfielder Ante Coric, according to a report from Simon Jones of the Daily Mail.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has apparently spoken directly with the Croatian youngster about the possibility of him leaving Dinamo Zagreb to join his Liverpool revolution.

Chelsea, Manchester City and Wolfsburg are also apparently keen on signing the teenager too, so Liverpool will face a battle if they do decide to try to bring him to Merseyside.

Coric only made his debut for Zagreb in April 2014 but has developed well and is now a mainstay in their side, making 45 appearances last season.

In September 2014, he became the youngest goalscorer in Europa League history when he netted against Astra Giurgiu, at the age of 17 years and 157 days.

Liverpool look to be very active so far in the transfer window with numerous links and reports, although it remains to be seen which players Klopp does bring in.
