Italian giants Juventus are set to go head-to-head with Liverpool in the race to sign Inaki Williams from Athletic Bilbao.
Tuttosport, as cited on Calcio Mercato, claim that the Spaniard is a target for the Italians after impressing in La Liga since his emergence with the Basque club.
Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool are also thought to be long-term admirers of the player but may be put off by the €50 million release clause in his current deal, which runs until 2021 with Bilbao.
Williams is a versatile attacker and can play wide or as a lone striker, making him the perfect option for Liverpool with their current system. He’s scored four goals in all competitions this season and has a further five assists.
The Spaniard has hinted at a move away from the club he came through the ranks at, but it would take a lot of money for the Basque club to let their most prized asset leave.
