Liverpool set to sign Yasser Larouci
Liverpool are close to agreeing a deal to sign young French star Yasser Larouci, as per a report from Melissa Ready of Goal.com.
The youngster had recently been on trial with Southampton and was also a target for Manchester United but it looks like he’s set to make a move to Merseyside where he’ll join Liverpool’s academy structure.
Born in January 2001, in Algeria, the youngster moved to France at a young age and joined the Le Harve youth set-up, an academy that has helped bring through stars like Riyad Mahrez, Dimitri Payet and Paul Pogba in the past.
He was offered a chance to renew his deal with the French side but the 16-year-old decided to look elsewhere for a move and joined the Saints on trail.
By all accounts, he impressed during his time on the South Coast but Liverpool have seemingly swooped in to sign the winger.
It looks like it’ll be a matter of time before fans of the Liverpool youth sides get a new, speedy winger to watch.
