Brazilian starlet refuses to rule out move to Liverpool
Bordeaux forward Malcom has refused to rule out a move to Anfield in the future, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
The 19-year-old has caught the attention of European clubs this season after scoring six goals in 29 appearances this season.
Sevilla are thought to be interested in the player and he is thought to prefer a move to the Lia Liga club, while Manchester United have also reportedly scouted the player.
I do not know anything about Liverpool, Manchester, I do not know anything about it … I’m very calm, I just think about Bordeaux today, I want to do my job well and give French fans lots of joy.
Malcom has featured for Brazil’s U20s and the U23s side but is yet to have a senior appearance.
Bordeaux are enjoying a strong campaign in France, they sit seventh in the Ligue 1 table, finding themselves in contention for a place in the Europa League next season.
The two clubs met in the group stages of the Europa League in 2015, but the Brazilian did not feature for the club, having only signed from Corinthians in January 2016.
The Reds beat the French side 2-1 at Anfield but drew 1-1 away from home.
