City make offer for Liverpool target
Premier League rivals Manchester City have submitted an offer for Liverpool target Sead Kolasinac.
The Reds are searching for a left-back to replace James Milner who has been fitting in as a make-shift defender.
Reports emerging from German outlet, Bild, say City have stepped up their pursuit of the defender, who is out of contract at Schalke at the end of the season.
The Bosnian defender has previously been linked with moves to Juventus as well as a January deadline day switch to Premier League leaders Chelsea.
The report suggests that Kolasinac will want assurances on his potential role at Manchester City in order to consider a deal. Regular first-team football could help sway a move in Liverpool’s favour.
His current side are still in talks to try and get the player to sign a contract extension to remain in the Bundesliga, but with interest mounting and the money available to him in the Premier League, it looks unlikely they’ll be able to convince him to stay in Germany for any longer.
