Allan to extend Bundesliga loan spell
Liverpool midfielder Allan is set to extend his loan spell with Hertha Berlin until the end of next season.
The 20-year-old is currently on a season-long loan with the Bundesliga club, and looks set to be there again next term.
As reported by The Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp will have to wait until the season after next to test the Brazilian out in the first-team.
This is due to issues with his work permit to play in England. The report claims that Allan will have to wait until the summer of 2018 to secure his permit.
Allan has started five league matches for Hertha this season, which is not enough for him to meet the criteria.
Hertha are fifth in the Bundesliga and look set for European football next season, which would help to obtain Allan’s permit if he is able to participate in the games.
This means that he will have to be loaned out again, with talks already underway between the two clubs.
