Liverpool have today confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Derby County over the permanent sale of defender Andre Wisdom.

The young Englishman has been linked with a move to The Rams for some time now, and it looks as though the negotiations have finally been concluded by the two clubs.

Although no exact price is mentioned in the statement from The Reds, the initial fee for Wisdom is thought to be worth around £2m. However, if reports are to be believed, the package as a whole could reach £4.5m based on bonuses.

Wisdom made his first-team debut for Liverpool back in 2012 but failed to cement his place on the senior stage, leading to loan spells away from Anfield and a shortage in game time when available.

A move is likely to be completed and finalised in the coming days.
