Liverpool to battle Southampton for Dortmund man
Liverpool have joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund youngster Emre Mor.
The Reds will have to battle Southampton and Spanish side Real Sociedad for the 19-year-old’s signature this summer.
Mor arrived at Dortmund last year and has been left hungry for game time, as he made just 12 appearance during the 2016/17 Bundesliga season.
The Mirror state that the Turkish international has expressed his desire to leave his club, and believes a loan move would be a good option.
Mor broke onto the scene last June whilst featuring for the Turkish national team in the European Championships. He’s highly regarded as one of the top young talents in Europe, but the general consensus is that more game time is essential.
The teenager operates naturally as a right-winger but has the capacity to play out on the left as well.
With Jurgen Klopp looking to add depth to his squad ahead of Champions League football returning to Anfield, could Mor be a suitable choice?
