Phillipe Coutinho does not want to play for Liverpool again, following his transfer request Friday afternoon.
According to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, Coutinho is refusing to play for the club again as he looks to force through a move.
Twitter: Philippe Coutinho doesn’t want to play for Liverpool again. No going back. Relationship with manager not great. LFC still in strong position (@SkyKaveh)
Solhekol says that the relationship between Coutinho and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is breaking down.
Liverpool remain adamant that they will not sell Coutinho this summer, as they look to mount a title challenge next season – with a Champions League qualifier to come as well.
Barcelona have had two offers rejected for Coutinho, with the latest one said to be worth £90m.
The Spanish giants are looking to replace Neymar, who joined PSG in a world-record €222m deal last week.
Solhekol says that Liverpool remain in a strong position.
