It looks as though Nathaniel Clyne’s injury torment is set to continue for some more months.
According to reliable Merseyside journalist Paul Joyce, the England international is set to be sidelined until February having undergone surgery on his recurring back issues.

Clyne is yet to play this season and has been suffering with the back problem for some time now.
It was thought that Clyne was nearing a return in recent weeks, but the news of his surgery presents yet another setback to the former Southampton man, who will have missed out on the majority of the 2017/18 campaign.
Clyne will hope to regain fitness and form by the time the summer comes around, with him undoubtedly harbouring ambitions of featuring in the World Cup in Russia with Gareth Southgate’s England squad.
