According to Juvefc.com, Juventus want Emre Can as well as Leon Goretzka, who Liverpool targeted to replace Can with.
Can was subject to a move away from Anfield last transfer window but a move never came through and the German midfielder stayed at Liverpool but Juventus are prepared to try and sign him yet again next summer.
Liverpool were reported to replace Can with Schalke’s young talent, Goretzka, but Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta hits that his side are now lining up a move for him as well as Can both for free transfers, as the German’s contracts run out at the end of this season.
Emre Can and Leon Goretzka are two players with expiring contracts and I don’t hide the fact that we are following them both, like many other teams.
Although Naby Kieta is joining Liverpool at the end of the season, they were still targeting Goretzka, so losing Can and not signing Goretzka is a massive blow for the club.
With Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson’s injury record not being great, Liverpool do need to sign a central midfielder with James Milner not getting any younger either.
