A second member of Liverpool’s ‘fab four’ has earned some acclaim from the Premier League this season as Mohamed Salah is named the PL Player of the Month for November, pipping the likes of Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne to the award.

Salah leads the way in the Golden Boot race with 13 goals, one more than Tottenham’s Harry Kane and his efforts in November went a long way to seeing him sit atop those charts, netting seven goals in four Premier League appearances last month.

The former Roma standout becomes the first Egyptian to win the award and follows Sadio Mane, the August award winner, as Liverpool’s second Player of the Month winner this season.

Salah said:

Each month I want to score many goals and help the team to win games.

That month, I scored seven goals and it’s a good feeling, but for me the most important thing is the result and we had good results that month.
