Coutinho completed his long-awaited move to Barcelona earlier in the window and the Brazilian only boost the Catalan side’s chances of securing another La Liga trophy this season.

Madrid trail Barcelona by 16 points in La Liga, amid concerns about Zidane’s long-term future at the club.

The report suggests that Madrid have been keeping a watchful eye on Salah’s development for some time.

Harry Kane and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard are also thought to be under consideration from the Spanish giants, however, Salah is seen as the cheapest out of the three possible transfer targets.

Madrid are famously known for their ‘Galactico’ signings and will be hoping to add to their squad after missing out on Kylian Mbappe during the summer.
