Liverpool are set to welcome back Mohamed Salah, who has been passed fit to face Manchester City this weekend.

As per a report from Sky Sports, Jurgen Klopp confirmed the winger has recovered from a groin injury that kept him out of the Reds’ previous two matches.

Salah has undoubtedly been Liverpool’s man of the moment this season, scoring 17 times in the Premier League already.

The former Chelsea winger has 22 goals to his name in all competitions. Liverpool fans will be hoping to see the likes of Salah step up to fill the void left by Philippe Coutinho.

Liverpool will be aiming to become the first team to beat Manchester City in the Premier League this season.

Pep Guardiola’s side remain unbeaten winning all 22 of their games, giving them a 15-point lead ahead of local rivals Manchester United.

Liverpool know that three points will be just as valuable to them as they look to secure their position inside the top four.
