Serie A side Napoli have shown a real interest in Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, according to Sky Italia, cited by Calciomercato.
Former Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina is the current Napoli number one, however, has endured a torrid time in between the sticks so far this season, and with the former Spanish number one out of contract in the summer, Napoli have targeted Mignolet as a potential replacement.
Mignolet’s time at Anfield hasn’t been pretty either, with the Belgian regularly coming in for criticism on Merseyside during his five years at the club since joining from Sunderland.

Mignolet, 29, is also believed to be growing increasingly frustrated at not playing Champions League football, where Loris Karius is getting the nod from boss Jurgen Klopp.
With Liverpool still looking to solve their number one issues themselves, this reported transfer may be a move that suits both parties, and one that could move quickly.
