Liverpool to go back in for Piotr Zielinski
Liverpool were reportedly very keen to sign Piotr Zielinski when he left Udinese in 2016, in fact, the player was even pictured wearing an official Reds shirt on social media, but in the end, he made a switch to Napoli.
The Polish star has been excellent at Napoli as they’ve battled at the top of Serie A and according to reports from Italy, Liverpool are eyeing up a possible summer move for him.
The midfielder has scored seven goals and has two assists for Napoli this season and he’s attracting interest from the Reds, and fellow Serie A side AC Milan.
The Reds, if they do want to renew their interest in the Polish international, will reportedly be asked to pay between €35-€40m to get him.
With Emre Can set to leave the club at the end of the season, and with Philippe Coutinho having departed in January, the Reds are expected to add at least one more midfielder, as well as Naby Keita, to their squad for next season.
