According to Paul Joyce of the Times, Liverpool are already making plans to make Napoli’s Italian international Jorginho their number one Summer target.
The Brazilian born Italian international, who is widely regarded as one of the top talent’s in Serie A, is set to become Jurgen Klopp’s top target in the Summer transfer window.
However, Liverpool will face stern opposition for the midfielder. Joyce admits that the player would be capable of playing for “for just about every elite side in Europe.” showing how much of a coup getting Jorginho to come to Anfield would be.
Napoli have fired themselves to the top of Serie A this season. Jorginho has been a major influence in the side, showing real defensive expertise and a great ability on the ball.
This news comes after Liverpool beat West Ham 4-1 at Anfield. Goals from, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane wrapped up the win for the Reds.
