Robertson misses training as Liverpool prepare for Porto
Liverpool’s left-back Andrew Robertson was missing from training on Monday as the Reds prepared for the game with Porto on Tuesday evening.
The Reds trained at Melwood without the Scottish full-back, although there is no word as yet as to why the Scottish international missed the session, but it looks like he won’t feature in the game at Anfield on Tuesday evening.
Alberto Moreno, who started the season as Liverpool’s first choice left-back, will likely feature as the Reds go into the game with a 5-0 lead after they hammered the Portuguese giants in the first leg a few weeks ago.
Robertson took a while to get into the Liverpool side but an injury to Moreno opened the door for him and he took his chance with both hands.
He’s put in some amazing displays and has earned the adulation of the Liverpool fanbase, who sing his name regularly on match days.
It looks like the Scot has just been rested after a busy workload and he should feature in the Liverpool side that travels to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Saturday.
