Liverpool interested in signing Javairo Dilrosun

Liverpool have two of the Premier League’s top wingers in Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane but the Reds are reportedly eyeing a move for one of the top prospects in the division.

Portuguese source O Jogo report that the Reds are among a host of top European clubs hoping to sign Manchester City winger Javairo Dilrosun in the summer.

The Reds were linked with a move for Dilrosun earlier in the season and they appear set to firm up their interest after the current campaign.

Dilrosun joined the City academy setup in 2014 from Ajax and has progressed nicely through the ranks, but the 19-year-old is yet to make his first-team debut for the Citizens.

Already possessing a host of top wing talent in their first-team squad, the road to a first-team breakthrough is a long and arduous one for the Netherlands U19 international and he is considering leaving the club to seek opportunities elsewhere when his contract expires this summer.

Able to play on either wing, Dilrosun was in Lisbon last week to hear out a proposal from Benfica who can discuss a pre-contract move with the attacker as his contract is winding down.

RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Valencia are all also said to be interested in signing the Manchester City starlet.
