Liverpool will reportedly face competition from Napoli in their pursuit of Roma goalkeeper Alisson.
According to reports in Italy, as per talkSPORT, the Reds are not alone in their interest towards Alisson and will need to fend off competition from elsewhere if they are to land the shot stopper.
Brazilian international Alisson has gone from strength to strength in recent times and is enjoying the best season of his career to date. He has been a standout player for Roma and has been lined up as a main target for Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Napoli, though, will be hoping to convince the goalkeeper to stay in Serie A for the foreseeable future. It’s claimed that Maurizio Sarri would like to replace ex-Liverpool man Pepe Reina and has identified Alisson as the perfect fit.
With Reina apparently closing in on a move to AC Milan, Napoli will be looking to fight Liverpool for Alisson.
