Gareth Southgate has called up Joe Gomez, Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for England’s friendly games against the Netherlands on March 23rd and Italy on March 27th.
Gomez keeps his place in the 27-man squad after an impressive performance against Brazil last time out, whilst Henderson and Lallana have overcome recent fitness issues to be included. Henderson is likely to captain the side in one of the games with Harry Kane absent with an ankle injury.

Oxlade-Chamberlain wasn’t included in the last England squad but his recent good performances for Liverpool have earned him a recall.
Meanwhile, Reds duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dominic Solanke have been named in England’s U21 squad by Aidy Boothroyd.
The U21s face Romania in a friendly before a European Championships qualifier against Ukraine.
Ovie Ejaria, currently on loan at Sunderland from Liverpool has also been named in the U21 squad.
