Liverpool target Isaac Christie-Davies to leave Chelsea
Liverpool could be set to secure the signature of Chelsea youngster Isaac Christie-Davies after he was told he’s free to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
ESPN report that the club has informed the midfielder his contract will not be renewed at the end of the season.
While the news will come as a blow to the player, it is something that has been on the cards for some time.
The youngster has previously spent time on trial with Liverpool, featuring in two games for Neil Critchley’s U23s side.
The Reds have a record for taking a chance on young players who have been discarded by bigger clubs.
One of the most notable examples in recent years comes in the form of Dominic Solanke, who left Chelsea to join Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Liverpool will be boosted in their hopes of completing a deal after having the player on trial, however, the midfielder is likely to attract plenty of interest this summer.
