Liverpool insist that they will not sell Mohamed Salah under any circumstances this summer, despite Barcelona and Real Madrid hoping to sign the Egyptian.
According to Chris Bascombe of the Telegraph, Liverpool’s owners, Fenway Sports Group, want to buck the trend of the club selling their best players to the Spanish giants as they want Liverpool to be a destination for top players, not a stepping stone.

Liverpool are in a great position in terms of finances, so there will be no pressure to sell and with Salah under contract, they have no reason to let him leave.
Salah will still have four years left on his deal with Liverpool come the summer and as such, the Reds hold all the cards.
Liverpool are progressing on and off the pitch and in order to push on to becoming one of the biggest and best clubs in Europe once again, they need to stop selling their best players and, according to Bascombe, FSG are well aware of this.
