Ahead of Crystal Palace’s game against Liverpool after the international break, they will be forced to sweat over the fitness of star man Wilfried Zaha, as per a report from the Liverpool Echo.
The tricky winger has been sent home from international duty after being thoroughly assessed by Ivory Coast’s medical staff and will be further examined by the Eagles.
Zaha was forced off in Palace’s win against Huddersfield at the weekend but Roy Hodgson had indicated that it was only on a precautionary basis. However, after examinations from Ivory Coast’s staff, it seems the injury may be worse than what was first anticipated.

This news could come as a huge boost to Liverpool, who lock horns with Crystal Palace in a couple of weekend’s time in what promises to be an entertaining clash in the Premier League.
Zaha has caused the Reds problems when faced against them in recent seasons and if Palace are without their key man, Jurgen Klopp’s side will fancy their chances even more.
