Arsenal have joined the race to sign Liverpool midfield target Dani Ceballos this summer.
According to Diario Gol, both Premier League sides are looking to sign Ceballos this summer and are ready to compete for his signature.
Ceballos looks set to leave Real Madrid in the summer after failing to nail down a spot in Madrid’s side.
The report claims that he will only consider joining a team where he would have regular game time, which could be Arsenal, given their lack of quality in depth in midfield.
Italian side Roma are also said to be weighing up their interest, but Liverpool and Arsenal are seen as the front runners at this point in time.
The 21-year-old has started seven games this season and is looking for a guaranteed chance at first-team football.
Jurgen Klopp wants to strengthen his side for a title challenge next season and wants to add Ceballos to his squad, if he can beat Arsenal to the signing.
