When Andrew Robertson limped out of Scotland’s 1-0 win over Hungary earlier this week, the hearts of Liverpool fans were in their mouths.
The Reds had already lost one full back, Joe Gomez, to an injury suffered on international duty and it looked like they were about to lose another as Robertson hobbled off after a rather rough challenge.

Thankfully, all seems ok and the Scottish star was able to take full part in training at Melwood on Thursday as Liverpool stepped up their preparations ahead of a busy couple of weeks.
The Reds face Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon before the home and away legs of their Champions League qualifiers with Manchester City, which will take place either side of a Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.
Robertson has been one of Liverpool’s best and most consistent players since he broke into the first team this season, so Jurgen Klopp will be glad to have him fit and firing ahead of what is a huge fortnight for the Reds.
