Liverpool join Chelsea in renewing interest in Javier Pastore
Liverpool and Chelsea have been put on red alert after it was revealed that PSG’s Javier Pastore will be allowed to leave the club this summer, according to Talksport.
The French giants won the Ligue 1 title at the weekend when the dismantled Monaco 7-1 and are now already planning for next season.
The club are preparing a shake up of the club this summer as they look to get back amongst the very best in Europe after being easily beaten by Real Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Pastore is set to be allowed to leave in the summer after featuring just 11 times so far this term, with the player wanting to gain more first team chances.
Chelsea have been keen on the player who joined PSG back in 2012, whilst Liverpool have been linked with him on numerous occasions.
The Reds might be in the market for an attacking midfielder but if Pastore is after a guarenteed starting role, then a move to Anfield would probably not make a lot of sense for him.
