Jurgen Klopp is set to bid £40 million to land Guinean midfielder Amadou Diawara according to Calciomercato.
Diawara is currently playing for Italian giants Napoli and is the international teammate of soon-to-be Liverpool player, Naby Keita.

The 20-year-old has struggled to put his stamp on the Napoli first team this season with Jorginho being in front of him in the midfield pecking order. Jorginho himself is rumoured to be receiving a lot of interest from Premier League clubs, which indicates that either himself or Diawara will be leaving the Italian side this summer.
According to Calciomercato, signing Diawara could be part of a double raid at Napoli as the Reds are trying to persuade goalkeeper Pepe Reina to re-join the Merseyside club, despite the Spaniard already agreeing terms with fellow Serie A side AC Milan.
Tottenham are also interested in Diawara as they look to replace midfielder Moussa Dembele who is reportedly set to leave the club this summer.
