After the return of the Reds actually playing football and looking like winning a game in midweek, Hull City stand in the way of a bounce back that’s so sorely needed for Jurgen Klopp and his side.

Chelsea arrived at Anfield, defended well and took just a point – one they deserved but not one they looked like earning for long periods.

Klopp’s charges dug deep after going one-nil down and fought back to earn not just a draw, but also belief again from the fans and the media. Belief that they can still achieve something this season.

Hull City are fighting relegation, there are no two ways about. Marco Silva replaced Mike Phelan and has a proper job on his hands.

The January window was a busy one for the Yorkshire club, making stark changes to their squad. Lazar Markovic was just one of a number of foreign based players signing up for the scrap with the Tigers.

With only 15 games left this season, Liverpool must treat each game like it means everything; like it’s the clichéd cup final.

Expect Klopp to go very strong for the trip to the KCOM Stadium.
