Liverpool will be hoping to take a big step towards Champions League football next season with a win at Manchester City on Sunday.

The Reds travel to the Etihad in good confidence after a run of wins in recent times and are currently sat in fourth place; a point behind Sunday’s counterparts City and five ahead of Arsenal in fifth.

So, if Jurgen Klopp’s men are to defeat City on Sunday, they’ll move up a place into third and could go above Tottenham Hotspur in second place if they fail to win at home against Southampton.

However, it’s sure to be a difficult encounter against Pep Guardiola’s side, who will be hungry to make it up to their fans after they came crashing out of the Champions League in the round of 16 against Monaco on Wednesday night.

Both sides have an abundance of talent and quality, but how would a combined line-up look? We’ve had our say.
