Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen to sign Timo Werner and Naby Keita from Red Bull Leipzig, as per a report from Miguel Delaney of the Independent.

The 21-year-old Werner has been in great form this season, scoring 21 goals in 31 games as Leipzig took the league by storm, qualifying for the Champions League.

Keita has been rumoured to be joining Liverpool for almost the entire season as Klopp looks to add some more dynamism to his midfield.

The Reds are hoping to be playing Champions League football next season and as such, Klopp is keen to add more quality to his squad as he looks to compete both in Europe and in the league and both Werner and Keita certainly fit the bill.

Leipzig will be keen to keep hold of the pair as they embark on their European adventure but Liverpool will hope that the prestige of the club, added to increased finances, will be enough to get a deal done for both.
