Spurs join Liverpool in race to sign Balde Keita
Liverpool want to add a pacey wide forward to their ranks this summer and have seen a move for Mohamed Salah stall in recent times.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are amongst a host of clubs that are said to be interested in signing Balde Keita from Lazio this summer.
The Senegal international attacker netted 16 goals and provided five assists in 31 Serie A games this past season and is also on the radar of Juventus.
Everton have seen an approach rejected for the £30m-rated forward but now Tottenham have joined the race to sign him, according to the Mirror.
Born in Spain, Keita came through the La Masia academy at Barcelona before completing a £250,000 move to Lazio in July 2011.
Only contracted until 2018, Keita is refusing to sign fresh terms in order to force a move away from the club this summer and given his goal record and age, Liverpool should really consider making a bid if they struggle to sign other targets.
