Liverpool are edging ever closer to securing a deal to sign Mohamed Salah from Roma, according to the Daily Mail.
The Reds’ pursuit of Salah has been well reported over the last few weeks and after extensive negotiations, it looks as though progress has finally been made at both ends.
It’s stated in the report that the Reds are closing in on a compromise with Roma, as they look to tie up a £35m deal to sign the Egyptian international.
The Serie A side had initially been adamant and stubborn in their position that they would only let Salah depart for no less than £39m, but it seems as though the Reds could land him for a £35m fee up front along with an extra £5m in add-ons.
Salah was superb for Roma last season and is clearly admired by those at Anfield, so it looks to be an exciting prospect ahead of the coming season.
