Liverpool fail in Mane appeal
Liverpool have failed in their attempt to shorten the ban handed to Sadio Mane following his red card against Manchester City.

Mane was handed a three-match ban after his red card on Saturday, a decision Liverpool were not happy with.
The player, however, will now serve a three-game ban. Mane will the games Premier League games against Burnley and Leicester, as well as the League Cup match against the Foxes, which is in between the two domestic fixtures.
Mane was shown a straight red card during the latter stages of the first half on Saturday for a high challenge on Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.
The Senegalese attacker made contact with the goalkeeper rather than the ball, leaving the Brazilian needing stitches.
The decision changed the game completely and City went on to win the game 5-0.
