Coutinho to Barcelona: Ronaldinho wants star at the Nou Camp
Ronaldinho has come out in support of Philippe Coutinho’s proposed move to Barcelona believing that the Liverpool starlet would be a great fit at the La Liga giants, according to the Daily Star.
It is understood that Barca will return to Merseyside with an improved offer in January after failing to get their man last summer.
Ronaldinho, who helped the Catalan club to win the Champions League in 2006, came out in support of a move for his fellow countryman saying
I would be very happy to see such a talented player wear the shirt I wore for so many years
I believe the way he plays will perfectly suit Barcelona and would be delighted to see a player of such quality wear the shirt.
Those types of qualities will hopefully help Brazil win the next World Cup.
This high praise may worry many Liverpool fans as it seems to be becoming more and more inevitable that they will lose their influential playmaker.
Coutinho has scored 46 goals for the Reds since his move from Serie A club Inter Milan in January 2013. His flair and ability to score goals from outside of the box have won him admirers in England and across the world.
