Inter Milan are believed to have joined the race for Emre Can, who is able to leave on a free in the summer due to having only six months left on his contract.
Can was believed to be Juventus bound with a reported agreement between the two parties made at the beginning of the season.
However, according to reports in Italy (via Sky Sports), the Nerazzurri are believed to be keen on pipping their title rivals to his signature to bolster their title contending squad.
Can is looking unlikely to extend his stay at Liverpool, despite Jurgen Klopp having reiterated on more than one occasion that the Reds will do all they can to retain his services beyond his contract’s expiration.
However, it seems Can has his heart set on a move elsewhere and although Inter are seemingly establishing themselves as a potential suitor, Juventus are still apparently leading the race.
