Stoke make fresh bid to sign Harry Wilson on loan
Stoke have made a last-ditch effort to try and beat Derby County to the signature of Harry Wilson.
John Percy of the Telegraph confirms that the Potters have made a fresh bid to try and win the race to sign the Liverpool youngster on loan.
Percy reports that as it stands, Frank Lampard’s Derby County are poised to sign the player on loan, with a host of clubs interested in a deal.
There had been suggestions that Wilson would head to Stoke on loan as part of the deal that saw the Reds sign Xherdan Shaqiri, but Lampard held talks with the player over the weekend.
The Potters remain keen to sign a Liverpool player on loan as part of the Shaqiri deal, but it is yet to be seen if that will be Wilson.
The player recently returned to Liverpool as part of their pre-season preparations and has impressed in their opening friendlies.
