Salah nominated for UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Award
Mohamed Salah has been nominated for the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year award, it has been revealed.
UEFA have confirmed that the Liverpool forward has been named alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric in a three-man shortlist.
The news comes off the back of a brilliant induvidual campaign for Salah, who played a key role in Liverpool reaching the Champions League final.
The shortlist for the award is put together by coaches and journalists, a sign of how well respected Salah’s achievements are in the game.
The winner of the award will be confirmed at the end of the month at an awards ceremony in Monaco.
During the 2017/18 season, Salah won a host of induvidual awards including, the Premier League Golden Boot, Player of the Season, PFA Players’ Player of the Year, Liverpool’s Player of the Season, Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year and Liverpool’s Players’ Player of the Year, among many others.
