While Liverpool’s first team are on fire in the Premier League and the Champions League, the player’s out on loan have had their own successes, let’s see how they did this week.

Danny Ings – Southampton

Ings was unable to play for Southampton, due to the game being against parent club Liverpool.

Southampton were beaten 3-0 by the Reds with Wesley Hoedt opening the scoring with an own goal and Joel Matip and Mohammed Salah getting the other two before half time.

The loss meant that the Saints moved down to 14th place in the Premier League.

Harry Wilson – Derby County

Wilson returned from injury and returned to the starting for Derby, playing 83 minutes at left wing, before being replaced by the more defensive Scott Malone.

The Welshman opened the scoring in the 14th minute, getting his first goal for the Rams in a 3-1 victory over Brentford.

Henrik Dalsgaard scored for Brentford and Wilson, David Nugent and Mason Mount scored for the home side.

The win means that Derby moved up to sixth in the Championship, looking to finally regain their Premier League status.

Ben Woodburn – Sheffield United

Woodburn was again an unused substitute in Sheffield United’s 3-2 victory against Preston North End.

Billy Sharp, Chris Basham and David McGoldrick got the goals for the Blades and Callum Robinson and Daniel Johnson scored for Preston.

United moved up to fourth in the Championship, adding to their excellent start to the season.

Ryan Kent & Ovie Ejaria – Rangers

Kent started at left midfield and played 71 minutes before being replaced by Kyle Lafferty, he got an assist for Scott Arfield’s goal in the 52nd minute.

Ejaria made his return from injury and replaced James Tavernier in the 56th minute, Rangers beat St Johnstone 5-1 at Ibrox.

Tavernier, Alfredo Morelos, Arfield, Lafferty and Daniel Candeias scored for Rangers and Blair Alston scored for St Johnstone.

Rangers moved up to second place in the SPL, looking to clinch the title for the first time since 2011.

Adam Bogdan – Hibernian

Bogdan played the full game in goal and kept a clean sheet as Hibernian beat Dundee United 3-0 away from home.

Florian Kamberi, Martin Boyle and Manchester City loanee Thomas Agyepong scored the goals, meaning Hibs moved up to 3rd in the SPL.

Loris Karius – Besiktas

Karius played the full game in goal as they drew 1-1 away at Fenerbahce, former Red Ryan Babel scored the goal for Besiktas and Andrew Ayew got on the scoresheet for the home side.

The point meant Besiktas remained in fourth place in the Turkish Super Lig.

Sheyi Ojo – Stade Reims

Ojo started at right midfield and played 59 minutes before being replaced by Hyun-Jun Suk.

Reims drew 0-0 with Dijon, the point meant they moved down to 11th place in Ligue 1.

Marco Grujic – Hertha Berlin

Grujic played 72 minutes for Hertha Berlin before being replaced by Per Skjelbred, Hertha beat Borussia Monchengladbach 4-2.

Vedad Ibisevic scored twice and Valentino Lazaro and Ondrej Duda scored the other goals for the home side and Thorgan Hazard and Alassane Plea with the goals for Gladbach.

The win meant Hertha moved up to an impressive second in the Bundesliga.

Allan Souza

Allan made his debut for Frankfurt playing 17 minutes after replacing Jonathon De Guzman in the 73rd minute.

Frankfurt drew 1-1 with RB Leipzig, Gelson Fernandes and Emil Forsberg scored for Frankfurt and Leipzig respectively.

Despite the point, Frankfurt moved down to 13th place in the Bundesliga.
