Liverpool’s first team defeated Fulham 2-0 at Anfield at the weekend with Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri finding the target.

The players out on loan had their own successes away from Merseyside this week, let’s see how they got on.

Danny Ings – Southampton

Ings played upfront in a 4-2-3-1 formation and got an assist for Southampton’s goal in a 1-1 draw at home to Watford.

Manolo Gabbiadini scored for the Saints and Jose Holebas scored for Watford – Ings came off in the 40th minute for Charlie Austin after injuring his hamstring in the warmup.

Southampton moved down to 17th place in the Premier League despite the point.

Wilson played behind the striker again for the full game in Derby’s 3-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa – he also picked up a yellow card.

John McGinn, Tammy Abraham and Connor Hourihane scored for Villa and Derby moved down to 6th in the Championship after the defeat.

Ben Woodburn – Sheffield United

Woodburn didn’t make the bench for Sheffield United as they drew 0-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday in the Sheffield Derby.

Despite the point the Blades moved down to 4th place in the Championship.

Ryan Kent & Ovie Ejaria – Rangers

Kent didn’t feature in the game due to a hamstring injury he sustained before the match and Ejaria played the full game in central midfield.

Rangers beat Motherwell 7-1 at home with Scott Arfield (2), Eros Grezda(2), James Tavernier, Glenn Middleton and Alfredo Morelos scored for the Gers.

Curtis Main scored for Motherwell and despite the massive victory Steven Gerrard’s side remained in 3rd place in the Scottish Premier League.

Adam Bogdan – Hibernian

Bogdan played the full game in goal but conceded one in a 1-0 defeat away at Aberdeen in which Gary Mackay-Steven scored the only goal of the game.

Hibs moved down to 8th place in the SPL.

Loris Karius – Besiktas

Karius was injured with a back problem so did not feature with Tolga Zengin starting in goal in Besiktas’ 2-1 defeat at home to Sivasspor.

Guven Yalcin scored for the homeside but David Braz and Emre Kilinc scored for Sivasspor – Besiktas moved down to 7th place in the Turkish Super Lig.

Sheyi Ojo – Stade Reims

Ojo came off the bench for Reims for Remi Oudin in the 61st minute as they were beaten 2-0 away at St. Etienne.

Mathieu Debuchy opened the scoring and Wahbi Khazri got the second – Reims moved down to 9th place in Ligue 1.

Marko Grujic – Hertha Berlin

Grujic is still yet to return for Berlin due to the capsular rupture in the ankle injury he picked up earlier in the season.

His side lost 4-1 to Fortuna Dusseldorf away from home, Takashi Usami, Rouwen Hennings and Benito Raman (2) all scored for Dussledorf.

Davie Selke got the goal for Berlin and despite the defeat remained in 8th place in the Bundesliga.

Allan didn’t make the bench in Frankfurt’s 3-0 victory at home to Schalke were Filip Jovic (2) and Sebastien Haller scored.
