Mo Salah’s Egypt cancel friendly game with the UAE
Liverpool have been handed a boost with the news that Egypt’s scheduled friendly game against the United Arab Emirates has been cancelled, meaning that forward Mohamed Salah only has to play in one match during the international break.
Egypt’s game against the UAE has been cancelled due to a celebration day in their opponent’s homeland and as such, the only game they’ll play during the break is the clash with Tunisia on November 16th.
This means that Salah, who added to his extraordinary Liverpool goalscoring record by getting the opener against Fulham at the weekend, will arrive back well in advance of the trip to face Watford at Vicarage Road on November 24th.
With a busy fixture list looming for the Reds, with games against the likes of PSG and Everton on the horizon, Jurgen Klopp will be thankful for any extra rest days that his players can get.
