Rumoured Liverpool target Adrien Rabiot could be sold by Paris Saint-Germain in January, according to L’Equipe.

There have been strong reports doing the rounds that Rabiot has agreed to join Barcelona in the summer, having fallen out of favour at PSG.

According to the latest claims, however, the Ligue 1 giants are desperate to sell in January, in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Rabiot has rejected a new deal at Parc des Princes and been linked with a switch to Liverpool on numerous occasions.

He is seen as a player who could add even more quality and depth to the Reds’ midfield, following the summer arrivals of Fabinho and Naby Keita.

Things are sure to become much clearer once the January transfer window kicks into gear.

It is a saga that could rumble on and it will be interesting to see if Liverpool make a bid for Rabiot.

Jurgen Klopp has hinted that he will do no January business, but things could easily change.
