Premier League leaders Liverpool will be aiming to keep their winning form going when they face Leicester City at Anfield. The Reds are returning to action after an 11-day gap, which saw them make a trip to Dubai to recharge their batteries.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are currently four points ahead of Manchester City at the top, but their lead could be trimmed to a single point by the time they take the field, as the Cityzens play Newcastle tonight. Hence, the pressure will be on as we enter the business phase of the season.
In terms of injuries, Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Virgil van Dijk trained yesterday and will do so today. Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum are back in contention as well, while Trent Alexander-Arnold might come back for the game against West Ham. Joe Gomez is still some way from featuring in first-team training.
Here’s how we think Klopp may line his team up tomorrow:

GK: Alisson
The Brazilian is a certain starter in league games and is expected to be the case against Leicester.
RB: Fabinho
With Trent and Gomez out and Milner suspended, we predict Fabinho to play at right-back.
CB: Joel Matip
Dejan Lovren is back in training but we think Matip could keep his place in central defence.
CB: Virgil van Dijk
As confirmed by the boss, van Dijk trained yesterday and will do so today. Hence, he would be expected to start tomorrow.
LB: Andy Robertson
The Scot is far ahead in the race to be the team’s first-choice left-back. He is expected to start every league game when fully fit.
CM: Jordan Henderson
The captain was superb in the previous game against Crystal Palace. We predict him to start on Wednesday as well.
CM: Georginio Wijnaldum
The Dutchman is back fit as confirmed by the boss and is expected to slot back into the team.
RW: Xherdan Shaqiri
The Swiss maestro has had a good impact playing on the right-hand side of the forward line. We predict him to start, partly because Leicester could defend deep.
CAM: Roberto Firmino
Ever since Mohamed Salah has been playing as a number nine, we have seen Firmino drop down to a number 10 position. We expect the same to happen against the Foxes.
LW: Sadio Mane
The Senegalese star scored in the reverse fixture early in the season. His threat from the left side would be tough to handle for the Leicester defenders.
ST: Mohamed Salah
The Egyptian will be aiming to continue his fine goal-scoring when he takes the field on Wednesday.
